Miriam Beike is an independent dancer and dramaturg. After completing her studies in dance at the Folkwang University of the Arts, she worked with a variety of choreographers. She has been part of the experimental music and dance theater company Filidonia since 2016. She has a particular interest in the discourse fields of dance, such as questions of diversity and inclusion. She expanded her knowledge as a Master’s student in dance studies at the Free University of Berlin and worked as a dramaturg for the collective Europa Danzante and as an assistant dramaturg on Sebastian Matthias' piece Urban Creatures. Miriam is searching for new forms and interfaces in order to put what is experienced physically into words.
