DOCK ART, the performance space at DOCK 11, is part of Berlin's diverse theater landscape. As a permanent venue, the theater hall with up to 99 seats exists since 1998, successfully presenting a weekly changing stage program for more than 20 years. Its program focuses on dance, but theater, film, performance, literature, visual arts and design are also being curated.

Important festivals include the international dance film festival POOL, MASH Dance Berlin, a joint festival with Machol Schalem Dance House in Jerusalem, B12, SoundDance, PLATAFORMA, SpeeDance and UN/polished a cooperation with Muzeum Susch / Switzerland. From 2020-23 DOCK ART receives concept funding from the Cultural Administration for Culture and Europe in the State of Berlin.

Hinweise zur Barrierefreiheit

There is no continuous, step-free and level access (incl. curb ramp) from the street to the building and the event area with a width of at least 150 cm. However, there is a ramp with a width of 1 meter. The entrance has only one step. There are no barrier-free parking spaces and sanitary facilities. There is space for wheelchairs or walkers in the event hall/area and there is the possibility of special suitable seat reservation and/or to enter the hall ahead of time. In this case, advance reservation is requested.
