Abteilung Verkehr deals with the history of a section of the SED, the East German Communist Party, which maintained active contact with the west as well as the question of what the terms plot and conspiracy theory have to do with each other. In the well-preserved rooms of Fahrbereitschaft, the audience members give themselves over to a journey through time into the former unit using an app. The audience members will become players who enter into the history of the department based on the tasks that they are given to get to know it from another perspective.
The duration of the piece has changed from the original 75 min to 120 min.
In general, however, it should be noted that due to the historic building structure, barrier-free access to the venue is not possible and that the interior is only accessible via the staircase. All hallways and doorways are very narrow.
