Abteilung Verkehr deals with the history of a section of the SED, the East German Communist Party, which maintained active contact with the west as well as the question of what the terms plot and conspiracy theory have to do with each other. In the well-preserved rooms of Fahrbereitschaft, the audience members give themselves over to a journey through time into the former unit using an app. The audience members will become players who enter into the history of the department based on the tasks that they are given to get to know it from another perspective.

The duration of the piece has changed from the original 75 min to 120 min.

Continuously accessible, step-free and level access (incl. curb ramp) from the street to the building and to the event area with a width of at least 150 cm is not available. Barrier-free parking spaces are available, but there are no wheelchair-accessible sanitary facilities. There is space for wheelchairs or walkers in the event hall/area and there is the possibility of special suitable seat reservation and/or to enter the hall ahead of time.
In general, however, it should be noted that due to the historic building structure, barrier-free access to the venue is not possible and that the interior is only accessible via the staircase. All hallways and doorways are very narrow.
